The Village of Biron is accepting applications for a Public Works Crew Member to perform routine maintenance and repairs on village streets, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water system, park facilities, and other municipal buildings and grounds. This position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, with additional availability on nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary for snow removal and infrastructure repairs. Successful applicants must be mechanically inclined, be self-motivated, be able to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds, and be able to work with minimal supervision. Class B CDL driver’s license required. Knowledge/Experience with road construction public water supply, distribution systems, and sewer collections systems, along with working knowledge of pipe installation, connection and repair required.
Salary And Benefits:
- Salary range is $24.77 to $30.96/hour. Overtime and Compensatory time available in addition to salary.
- Normal Hours of Operation are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
