Taste of Wine & Cheese Brings Community Together to Support Local Youth

Stevens Point, WI---On Friday, April 4^th, the 20^th annual Portage County Taste of Wine & Cheese event delivered an unforgettable evening of community, celebration, and generosity – raising critical funds for youth programs at the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County.
 
With over 700 guests in attendance, along with the incredible support of Festival Foods, Midwest Communications, John & Patty Noel, Len Dudas Motors, WAOW, and over 100 other generous sponsors and donors, this year’s event was a resounding success.
 
Guests were treated to a remarkable tasting experience featuring over 100 wines from around the world, dozens of specialty cheeses, handcrafted local brews, and decadent desserts. The evening also featured a vibrant silent auction, the exciting Dippin’ for Bling and Cork Pull Raffles, and a Wishing Tree filled with items needed at the Clubs.
 
While Taste of Wine & Cheese remains the Boys & Girls Club’s largest annual fundraiser, the impact of this event goes far beyond a single evening. The funds raised support year-round programming, including providing healthy meals and snacks, homework help, and safe, enriching environments for youth during both the school year and summer months.
 
The Boys & Girls Club of Portage County recognizes that this unforgettable evening was made possible thanks to the unwavering support of our local businesses, generous donors, and dedicated volunteers.
 
100% of the proceeds raised at the event directly benefit the youth who attend the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County.
