A shimmering night of splendor awaits; join us for the centennial celebration of The Great Gatsby! Bound to Happen Books is partnering with Great Northern Distilling for a double feature event celebrating all things Fitzgerald. From 5 to 6 pm, Dr. Ross K. Tangedal (Associate Professor of English and the Director/Publisher of the Cornerstone Press at UWSP) will lead a facilitated discussion of the book itself. From 7 to 10 pm, our Great Gatsby Celebration will begin in earnest, with live music from A Joyful Little Band will immerse dancers in the elegance of the Jazz Age while the Great Northern mixologists whip up Gatsby-inspired cocktails.
Admission is ticketed separately. The Great Gatsby Book Discussion ticket, priced at $30, includes a copy of The Annotated Great Gatsby: 100th Anniversary Deluxe Edition and complimentary entry to the subsequent Great Gatsby Celebration.
For those who want to skip straight to the party, tickets for the Great Gatsby Celebration alone are available for $10, available online and at the venue entrance.
